Feeding America

One of six Americans don't know where their next meal will come from. 16% of them are children. Why are nearly 50 million people going hungry? Every year 140 million tons of food spoil. Morgan Stanley helped deliver more than 23 million servings of fresh produce to hungry families. Last year 3,134 Morgan Stanley employees participated in 176 Feeding America volunteer projects. Morgan Stanley's work helped Feeding America supply food to 37 million hungry Americans last year, including 14 million children.

Since 1852, Great Ormond Street Hospital in London has helped thousands of children with rare illnesses. The firm and its employees raised £11M for the hospital.

Accion Chicago

Accion Chicago is the area's largest microlender. We gave them an innovative line of credit. They made loans of $200 to $25,000 to micro entrepreneurs. An ambitious mom started a childcare center in her home. A determined woman opened her own contracting company.

Ashinaga

They provide funding for education and psychological counseling. Morgan Stanley made a generous donation. And helped Ashinaga raise money in Times Square. Today, Ashinaga is extending help to AIDS orphans in Africa and others in need around the world.
