Client Consulting Services: Programme Management

Morgan Stanley has a dedicated team to help its fund manager clients launch their funds within Prime Brokerage. This team, made up of a diverse range of skill sets including consultants, technologists and experienced Prime Brokerage representatives, has helped launch hundreds of hedge funds including the majority of the leading European funds, and aims to make the launch process as seamless and easy as possible.

A dedicated single point of contact will be assigned to look after each new client for the duration of the start up of the fund. Working backwards from the proposed launch date of the fund, the programme manager will construct a personalised project plan detailing all the "mile stones" which have to be completed, and by whom, to launch the fund on time. The programme manager will guide clients through the Morgan Stanley organisation and ensure that they receive the level of service due to a relationship of this importance.

The programme manager will also act as the central point of contact for any queries the client may have of Morgan Stanley and equally be responsible for ensuring that the internal team identified to support you is kept abreast of all developments. Finally, as clients near the point when they will start trading, the programme manager will ensure a seamless hand over to the Client Service Representative who will be the main point of contact for the client once they start trading.

Working with the leading third-party service providers, whether legal, compliance, administration or IT, the programme management team guides clients in the "best practise" choice for creating a sustainable fund organisation.

Not only does the Client Consulting Services programme management team assist in the start-up of new hedge funds, but operating on a global basis with representatives in London, New York, San Francisco, Hong Kong and Tokyo, can assist in the start-up and integration of satellite offices from day one but also support your expansion plans in the future.
