Morgan Stanley SA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Morgan Stanley, was incorporated in Geneva in 1973. In 1986, Morgan Stanley significantly expanded its presence in Switzerland and transferred all Swiss activities to Zurich, commencing operations as Bank Morgan Stanley AG, a fully licensed Swiss bank, in 1990.
The main focus of the Bank’s activities is on Private Wealth Management, the Morgan Stanley service providing comprehensive wealth management solutions to individuals, families and foundations that control significant pools of wealth. Other activities include institutional services such as the sale of equities and convertibles, warrants issues and trading in interest rate swaps as well as investment banking services.
