In autumn 2005, Morgan Stanley established the
Mathematical Modelling Centre in Budapest to provide quantitative analysis to
support the firm’s global fixed income trading business. The decision
to locate the center in Budapest was based on the outstanding mathematical traditions in
Hungary and the availability of high-quality talent.
In July 2006, Morgan Stanley furthered its presence in the region by
opening the Business Services and Technology Centre in Budapest to support business
activities in North America and Europe. The office is located on the Danube in the
new state-of-the-art Millennium City Centre and provides support across a variety of
services including operations, financial control and information technology.
