Council on Foreign Relations

Morgan Stanley is proud to support the Council on Foreign Relations with its research, programs and projects that promote an understanding of foreign policy.

The Council on Foreign Relations, founded in 1921, is an independent, nonpartisan membership organization dedicated to helping its members, government officials and global leaders better understand the world and the foreign policy choices facing the United States and other countries.

The Council’s website, CFR.org is a guide to information which promotes foreign policy awareness through unbiased and in-depth coverage of U.S. foreign policy and international affairs. Journalists and researchers produce analysis and interviews to explain the international issues of the day. Researchers working with the Council review material from other think tanks, government agencies, educational institutions and nongovernmental organizations in order to deliver high-quality information and insight.

As part of this partnership, Morgan Stanley has committed to providing financial support for the production and development of CFR.org’s Daily Analysis and Backgrounders news feeds.

The Council is supported by a wide range of individuals and institutional donors but the largest donations come from corporate, foundation and individual endowment gifts and grants. Morgan Stanley is pleased to be a Corporate Member of the Council since 1972.
