The Council on Foreign Relations, founded in 1921, is an independent, nonpartisan membership organization dedicated to helping its members, government officials and global leaders better understand the world and the foreign policy choices facing the United States and other countries. The Council’s website, CFR.org is a guide to information which promotes foreign policy awareness through unbiased and in-depth coverage of U.S. foreign policy and international affairs. Journalists and researchers produce analysis and interviews to explain the international issues of the day. Researchers working with the Council review material from other think tanks, government agencies, educational institutions and nongovernmental organizations in order to deliver high-quality information and insight.
