Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management is seeking eager, hardworking individuals to participate in the 2010 Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management Analyst Program. Candidates must be in their senior year of a four-year accredited college or university majoring in business, economics or another relevant field. Qualified candidates must show a keen interest in the financial services industry. Relevant work or internship experience is strongly desirable. The program is based in New York City. Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management (US and Latin America) The Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management (PWM) Analyst Program is a competitive, 24-month non-rotational program beginning in early July. It consists of comprehensive, multi-disciplinary training designed to prepare analysts for a career in PWM. After completing the training program, PWM analysts are placed into one of three specific tracks and work closely with product and trading specialists from across the firm to gain a thorough understanding of the uses and applications of sophisticated financial tools, and the full range of both internal and external financial products. This formal and rigorous Analyst program provides a transparent and consistent method for those new to the firm to learn about the ultra-high net worth market, PWM and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney while obtaining the skills necessary for career advancement. Developing Your Career High-performing Analysts can anticipate placement in a variety of roles within the firm, including product groups and strategic functions. Senior management takes a keen interest in your progress as an Analyst, and will look to you for fresh perspectives and new ideas. Requirements Requirements include an undergraduate degree with a relevant major such as business or economics, a minimum 3.5 GPA, and a keen interest in the financial services industry. A resume that shows work experience in a related field is also required. Selection Process Depending on your school, interviews may take place on campus or at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. Interviews are conducted by senior managers, former Analyst Program participants, and Human Resources. Successful candidates can expect two to three rounds of interviews.
