The London-based newspaper noted that Morgan Stanley Electronic Trading (MSET) relies upon the Firm's technology to support its products and has "taken the lead in many areas."

The article highlighted Algorithm Manager, Morgan Stanley's customizable algorithmic trading platform that launched in late 2010 in response to buyside clients' demands for bespoke algorithmic trading strategies, as well as MS Port, the Firm's multi-asset class portfolio-trading algorithm. A recent enhancement to MS Port enables users to trade U.S. and European names in the same portfolio while maintaining all regional risk controls.
