Morgan Stanley Prime Brokerage received top honors in Global Custodian's annual Prime Brokerage Survey. The institutional securities services publication recognized Morgan Stanley in six categories and named the Firm the leader among largest funds (more than US$1bn).

Morgan Stanley Prime Brokerage received "Best in Class" recognition in:

• client service
• financing
• reporting
• technology
• operations
• capital introductions

Nearly 1,400 hedge funds, ranging in asset size and strategy, rated the overall quality of service among 15 prime brokers. The editors of Global Custodian weighed survey scores, respondent comments and market presence to determine the rankings. 

Morgan Stanley received highest recognition for its capital introductions presence, winning "Best in Class" by asset size, strategy and international prime brokerage. Global Custodian published select respondent comments including: "[Morgan Stanley's] cap intro team was head and shoulders above the rest. . . they are fantastic."

The client service group won "Best in Class" among larger funds for overall dedication. One respondent commented, "The staff at Morgan Stanley is excellent, and the knowledge level is great."

The Firm maintains its consistent approach in serving clients both domestically and abroad. International Prime Brokerage also received "Best In Class" in reporting and capital introductions with another respondent noting: "The quality and experience of the London prime brokerage staff is first class."
