Private Asset Managers and S&P Awards Honor Morgan Stanley

At the 2003 annual PAM (Private Asset Managers) Awards on March 7, Morgan Stanley's Private Wealth Management (PWM) group in Europe came away with the award for best risk-adjusted returns over three years for balanced portfolios.

 

At the 2003 annual PAM (Private Asset Managers) Awards on March 7, Morgan Stanley's Private Wealth Management (PWM) group in Europe came away with the award for best risk-adjusted returns over three years for balanced portfolios.

Private Asset Managers specializes in gathering and analyzing information on providers of private wealth management services throughout the UK industry. In addition to the award for balanced portfolios, PWM was also short-listed in three other categories, including Overall Service Quality, Product Innovation and Investment Performance for Growth Portfolios.

The panel of judges for the awards is made up of 13 senior professionals in the financial industry. The awards represent an important endorsement of the department's resources, processes and performance from leading industry experts.

The Investment Group within PWM has also recently secured an award from Standard & Poor's for the performance of the Morgan Stanley Select Global Diversified SICAV. The SICAV was the strongest performer over the last year of the 86 funds within the Asset Allocation Global Flexible sector for UK marketed funds.
