Morgan Stanley was rated the best and biggest equity borrower in Euromoney's International Securities Finance (ISF) 2001 Global Equity Lending Survey. Powering past a crowded field of over 20 competitors, Morgan Stanley placed first in the American, European and Asian regions and won the overall best global borrower title.

In a move clearly designed to establish the survey as the industry standard for securities lending performance, ISF improved the methodology and expanded the scope of the survey to properly reflect the critical factors that drive the industry.
