Morgan Stanley Wins Top Award for Research in Reuters Survey

Morgan Stanley has been presented with the award for "Best Broker Research according to the Fund Management Groups" in the 2000 Reuters Survey of European Larger Companies.

  

Morgan Stanley has been presented with the award for "Best Broker Research according to the Fund Management Groups" in the 2000 Reuters Survey of European Larger Companies.

Morgan Stanley also received the following rankings in the survey:

  • 1st for Most Improved Product and Service

  • 1st for Sales Trading

  • 1st for Primary Trading

  • 2nd for General Sales

  • 3rd for Secondary Trading
In addition, of the 15 categories in the questionnaire relating to broker execution, Morgan Stanley was mentioned favourably in 14 and received the top ranking in nine (this compares to six favourable mentions and two top rankings in 1999).

The purpose of the 2000 Reuters Survey of European Larger Companies is to provide a reliable set of benchmarks on equity research, sales and trading of the 350 largest continental European companies.
