Morgan Stanley ranked 5th overall in the Institutional Investor All Asia 1999 poll, moving up from a 6th place tie in 1998. Equity Research secured eight team positions versus six in 1998 and ranked in five of seven industry categories and in both equity macro categories. Of the twelve country categories, we ranked only in India, where we were number one.
