Morgan Stanley CMBS Website Receives 1998 WebAward

On Tuesday, December 8, 1998, the Web Marketing Association (WMA) announced that the Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) Client Link website has been awarded the Best Investment Site WebAward for 1998.

 

On Tuesday, December 8, 1998, the Web Marketing Association (WMA) announced that the Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) Client Link website has been awarded the Best Investment Site WebAward for 1998. The site received a score of 65 out of a possible 70 points. This is the second award that the CMBS site has garnered for the Firm; the CMBS site received the 1998 Bronze NewMedia INVISION Award.

The WMA describes the WebAward Morgan Stanley received, a Best of Industry Award, as "a head-to-head competition against those sites entered in the same industry category." Entries were judged on the following seven criteria: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, navigation, and ease of use. websites were evaluated by a panel of independent judges composed of members of the media, advertising executives, site designers, content providers and webmasters.

The Web Marketing Association (WMA) is a Boston-based organization comprising Internet marketing, advertising, PR and design professionals. The WMA describes its goal as one of "set[ting] a high standard for Internet marketing and corporate web development on the World Wide Web."
