Morgan Stanley continues its reign as the most-read research firm worldwide, according to First Call Corp., ranking number one for both 4Q1998 and the entire year. In addition, in a press release dated January 19, 1999, First Call Corp. named Morgan Stanley's Stephen Roach most-read analyst worldwide for 1998, and Byron Wien ranked number-one worldwide for the fourth quarter and number-one in North America for full year 1998 and 4Q1998. Morgan Stanley's Peter Churchouse, Robert Pelosky, and Amy Falls also commanded wide audiences in 1998; First Call named them 1998's most-read analyst in Asia, 1998's most-read analyst in Latin America, and 4Q1998's most-read fixed-income emerging markets analyst, respectively.
