Morgan Stanley's Global Wealth Management Group netted 111 spots on Barron's new ranking, "Top 1,000 Financial Advisors: State-by-State." Five of the Firm's Financial Advisors were named the top advisor in their respective states. The results appeared in the February 9 issue. 

Barron's state-by-state ranking reflects advisers' assets under management, revenue generated for their firms, quality of service and regulatory records.

Of the 111 advisors spotlighted by Barron's, five advisors were named top advisors in their state and profiled in the magazine. 

Editors noted that the recent joint venture between Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney will bring the Firm's total number of advisors on the list to 233 advisors, 12 of which took the top ranking in their states.

In recognition, the Firm will run a congratulatory ad in the next issue of Barron's.
