Firm Manages Most Renewable Energy IPOs in 2011

Morgan Stanley was ranked number one by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) for managing the most initial public offerings in the renewable energy industry in 2011.

 
Morgan Stanley was ranked number one by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) for managing the most initial public offerings in the renewable energy industry in 2011. The Firm was recently presented with the Public Markets Top Lead Manager award at the annual BNEF Summit in London.

The 2011 BNEF Clean Energy and Energy Smart Technologies League Tables recognize deal-makers driving the shift to a low-carbon economy.

Morgan Stanley managed $850 million in initial public offerings for the wind, solar and biomass companies in 2011 with 26.46 per cent market share, up from the fourth position in 2010, according to BNEF. Bloomberg's study is a comprehensive, quantitative benchmark for identifying the most active and innovative clean energy investors, project financiers, investment banks and law firms.
