- Midcap Growth: Morgan Stanley Institutional Mid Cap Growth, Van Kampen Mid Cap Growth A, Morgan Stanley Developing Growth B
- Multicap Growth: Morgan Stanley Capital Opportunity B
- Real Estate: Morgan Stanley Institutional Europe Real Estate A
The Journal rates Category Kings as top-performing funds in each category ranked by year-to-date total returns (changes in net asset values and reinvested distributions) for the period ended Oct. 28, 2004.
