Managing Director Moira Kilcoyne, Chief Information Officer for Company IT, was one of more than 80 women honored at the 31st annual Salute to Women Leaders Achievers sponsored by the Academy of Women Leaders of the YWCA-NYC recently in New York City.
Kilcoyne manages technology requirements for global corporate functions. The YWCA-NYC introduced the luncheon in 1974 to honor trailblazing women in business and today it is one of the most visible and important tributes to executive women in the nation. The YWCA-NYC created the 3,000 member Academy of Women Achievers to encourage corporations as well as labor, professional, nonprofit and government organizations to recognize their women achievers.
Kilcoyne's recognition represents the most recent development in Morgan Stanley's long standing relationship with the YWCA. The Firm has been involved in charitable activities with the YWCA since 1996.
Since 1858, the YWCA-NYC has been a pioneer for social change through innovative programs that improve the lives of the women, girls and families of New York City. The YWCA serves New Yorkers with a wide variety of programs including: employment training for women and dislocated workers, girls' leadership development, networking for youth with disabilities, and fitness and arts programs.
