The results of the 2002 Institutional Investor All-Japan Research Survey were released on April 5.
Morgan Stanley was ranked second behind Nomura Securities with 18 team positions. The Firm remained the top-ranked non-Japanese research house for the fourth consecutive year.
Rounding out the top seven were Nomura Securities at first (with 19 team positions), Goldman Sachs
at third (15), Deutsche Securities at fourth (14), Nikko Salomon Smith Barney at fifth (12), UBS
Warburg at sixth (11) and Merrill Lynch at seventh (10).
