Morgan Stanley's Spanish Research Team Named "Best Research Team" for Third Straight Year

Expansion, one of Spain's leading economic daily publications, has recently recognized Morgan Stanley's research team in Spain Best Research Team in their annual awards. The Morgan Stanley team has been named Best Research Team for the last three years.
The Expansion awards (Premios Expansion-Standard & Poor's), now in their thirteenth year, are the most prestigious accolades in the Spanish economic sector. A committee of Spanish Fund managers determined the winner of the Best Research Team category. The group voted for the firm they thought provided the best insight into market trends and values.
Blas Calzada, president of the CNMV (the equivalent of the SEC), hosted the Expansion awards ceremony, bringing together a large section of Spain's financial community. Of the 81 categories, Morgan Stanley also won:
- Best Latin American equity fund class A: Morgan Stanley SICAV
- #2 Euro Equity Fund: EuroIndice Fund
- #2 Mixed Equity Three-Year Fund: Eurovariable Fund
The awards received extensive press coverage, with Expansion dedicating an entire page to the Best Research Team category.
Additionally, La Gaceta, the third-most-widely read Spanish economic daily, recently awarded Morgan Stanley's Spanish Research Team the "Premios Bolsa" during a ceremony at the MadridStock Exchange. These awards recognize the best firms operating on the Spanish stock exchange. Morgan Stanley was awarded the prize for Best Research Team for the first time.
