Morgan Stanley Ranks #1 in Institutional Investor's 2000 Global Research Team

Morgan Stanley repeated its #1 showing in Institutional Investor's Fourth Annual Global Research Poll.

 
Morgan Stanley repeated its #1 showing in Institutional Investor's Fourth Annual Global Research Poll. Morgan Stanley secured the top spot with 20 positions, placing ahead of both Goldman and Merrill Lynch who tied (with 18), UBS Warburg (13), and Salomon Smith Barney (12).

Morgan Stanley also earned first place on a weighted-average basis with 59 points (assigning a rank of 4 to first teamers, 3 to second teamers, 2 to third teamers and 1 to runners-up); placing well ahead of Goldman (50), Merrill Lynch (35), Salomon Smith Barney (29) and UBS Warburg (22).

These results demonstrate the unique quality of Morgan Stanley's integrated global approach and the commitment of its team leaders to coordinate the global effort. Each and every team member should be commended for this achievement.
