Morgan Stanley Named to Business 2.0 100

In its July issue, Business 2.0 unveils its Business 2.0 100, "a unique new ranking of the sharpest companies taking advantage of the networked economy," according to the release announcing the Business 2.0 100's creation.

 
In its July issue, Business 2.0 unveils its Business 2.0 100, "a unique new ranking of the sharpest companies taking advantage of the networked economy," according to the release announcing the Business 2.0 100's creation. Morgan Stanley was one of the 66 non-Internet traditional companies named to the list based on annual Web revenue, purity of Web business, growth momentum, market cap power and "the 'B2 factor'' (assessment of each company's overall strength, market reach, online competitiveness, and future positioning within the New Economy)."

Six hundred eligible companies were pared down to 100 based on their point scores in these categories. James Daly, editor-in-chief of Business 2.0, stated, "These are smart companies taking advantage of enormous new online opportunities." They not only represent the future of e-commerce, but the future of all commerce."
