Morgan Stanley at Top in II Survey of Fixed-Income Trading

Morgan Stanley places first in Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) secondary trading, second in Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) secondary trading, and ranks fifth overall, maintaining its 1998 position.

 
In its December issue, Institutional Investor ranks the leading fixed-income trading firms, based on a survey of the top 300 money management firms in the U.S. Morgan Stanley places first in Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) secondary trading for the second year in a row. Morgan Stanley Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) secondary trading places second, up from third in 1998. The Firm ranks fifth overall, maintaining its 1998 position.
