Morgan Stanley Ranks at Top of 1999 Reuters Survey of U.S. Larger Company Investment Research, Sales and Trading
For the second year in a row, fund managers ranked Morgan Stanley #1 in overall research, and corporations ranked Morgan Stanley #2 in overall research in Reuter's 1999 Survey of U.S. Larger Company Investment Research, Sales and Trading.

On July 14, 1999, Reuters published its third annual U.S. Larger Company Investment Research, Sales and Trading Survey. For the second year in a row, fund managers ranked Morgan Stanley #1 in overall research, and corporations ranked Morgan Stanley #2 in overall research (up from #3 in 1998).
Tempest Consultants conducts the poll for Reuters, by surveying both the CIOs and Directors of Research for the top 150 institutional managers of active U.S. equity funds, and the CFOs and IR departments of the top 500 U.S. corporations with market caps in excess of US$3BN.
