Morgan Stanley Analysts Recognized in The Wall Street Journal 1998 All Star Survey

In the recently released Wall Street Journal All-Star Analysts Survey, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter captured 26 spots, finishing in fourth place with three more spots than last year.

 
In the recently released Wall Street Journal All-Star Analysts Survey, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter captured 26 spots, finishing in fourth place with three more spots than last year. The sixth-annual survey measures stock-picking skills and earnings estimate accuracy based on 1997 performance. Of the 26 positions Morgan Stanley earned, 14 awards were for stock picking and 12 were for earnings estimates. Morgan Stanley's 14 stock-picking awards positioned it in a tie for second place, and 12 earnings estimate awards positioned Morgan Stanley at #4.

Of the many Morgan Stanley analysts who received positions in The Wall Street Journal survey, of note were David Adelman in the Tobacco sector and Kit Konolige in the Utilities sector, who both earned first positions in earnings estimate accuracy.
