Morgan Stanley ranked #4 on Fortune magazine's list of the Top 10 Most Admired Securities/Diversified Financial Companies. Morgan Stanley also made Fortune's 1996 and 1997 lists as #2 in Securities (as Morgan Stanley Group) and #7 in 1996 and #6 in 1997 in Consumer Credit (as Dean Witter Discover).
